This is not the expected triumphant return to Nicolas Sarkozy: a majority of French (61%), its return is a “bad thing” for French political life, says a Odoxa poll for Le Parisien. Conversely, only 39% of French people believe that “it is a good thing.”
In fact, 66% (5) of respondents do not want it in the presidential election of 2017, against 33% (-4) who wish. 58% of respondents have a “bad opinion” of the new head of the UMP, 32% “very bad opinion”, 41% “good opinion” of which 6% “very good opinion.”
