A skier out 46 years of track is died Sunday around noon in the ski resort of Auron in the Alpes-Maritimes, following an avalanche has-been learned from the police.
According to preliminary information gathered by the police, three triggered the avalanche while skiing off piste between two chairlifts. Two unscathed but the third in cardiopulmonary arrest on arrival of the doctor, could not be revived.
No information had been communicated immediately his identity. The resort of Auron, one of the main department, had seen the day before, as the whole of the Alps, significant snowfall. The investigation was entrusted to the squad High mountain gendarmerie based in Saint-Sauveur-de-Tinée.
