Tours (AFP) – A training military aircraft Alpha Jet crashed Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Vouvray (Indre-et-Loire), near Tours, the wreckage falling on a home for disabled, leaving one dead and five injured residents, has-been learned from the prefecture.
The pilot of the aircraft and his student pilot managed to eject after “referred (for the crash) a dark area and apparently uninhabited,” the Colonel Cyril Duvivier, commander of the base from which had flown the Alpha Jet for training at flight night.
