Terror at the Christmas market on Monday night. Place Royale in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique), a van drove into the crowd. It arose “at full speed in the street of the tank, hit a first person and then a second and so on until impaled in the Christmas market,” a witness told us of the scene.
Eleven people were injured. Five, including the driver, were seriously. One of them has a life-threatened.
The vehicle driver, born in 1977, was then stabbed repeatedly driving his van. According to the prosecutor of Nantes, it would be an “isolated case” and “we can not talk about terrorist act.”
