According to the daily El Watan , Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has been hospitalized in Paris on Tuesday. The head of state was rushed by a medical plane that landed in the morning at Le Bourget airport, located eight miles from the capital. He was then admitted to the military hospital of Val de Grace.

For 77 years, Abdelaziz Bouteflika is not his first hospitalization. Already admitted to Val-de-Grâce following a stroke in April 2013, the Algerian president also stayed last November to d’Alembert clinic Grenoble.

His recurrent health problems have led to his being in a wheelchair. It would also have big problems with speech. But that did not stop him from being re-elected for the fourth time in April.
