The party Europe Ecologie-Les Verts (EELV), which is torn on the issue of joining the government, has a bad image with 63% of French, according to a survey to Odoxa Le Parisien / Today in Sunday.
Only 35% of respondents have a favorable opinion.
EELV risk of imploding 60% against 37%.
Environmentalists generally appear divided in the eyes of 72% of respondents and 52% sectarian. To their credit, they are deemed to have deep convictions (61%), they play a positive role for the environment (59%) and useful (52%).
A clear 55% majority opposes the return to the government environmentalists, against 43% who support it. Note that this hypothesis is rejected by almost all of the party’s supporters (94% against 6%).
Among those deemed “most likely politically represent ideas of environmentalists,” Nicolas Hulot which does not belong to EELV, leads with 46%, well ahead of Daniel Cohn-Bendit (20%), which was put on the sidelines of the party. Follow José Bové (14%) and Cécile Duflot (9%). Jean-Vincent Place and Emmanuelle Cosse up the rear (3%).
Survey conducted on 2 and 3 April with a sample of 1,055 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over.
