The Dutch police arrested Sunday a French 32, suspected of involvement in the preparation of an attack in France with Reda Kriket. Custody of the latter has been extended.
The cracks are tightening on individuals who fomented a new attack in France. Dutch police arrested on Sunday in Rotterdam, a French 32 years, as part of the investigation related to Reda Kriket. The latter was arrested last Thursday in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), as he was about to commit an attack on French soil. His custody was in fact extended Monday, probably until Wednesday. This extension, decided by a specialized judge, may intervene in case of imminent risk of a terrorist action or for international cooperation needs.
The French arrested Sunday is called Anis and B. made a trip to Syria accompanied by Reda Kriket. He was then appointed by the Islamic state to help his partner to prepare an attack in France. He was born in Montreuil and domiciled in the Val-de-Marne (Paris suburb). The man will be delivered to the French authorities “shortly”, said the spokesman of the Dutch parquet. The extradition process began.
The arrest of the French took place in Rotterdam West district. “During the searches, telephones, SIM cards, hard drives, money, ammunition and drugs were seized,” said AFP spokesman parquet, Wim de Bruin. “No explosives were found,” he added, declining to detail the type of munitions found in homes where searches were conducted himself in two separate streets of Rotterdam-West district. Two suspects arrested in Belgium
