Failing in the region, a base for Huchon – France Info

Jean-Paul Huchon, the former PS president of the Ile-de-France region, 70, has found a new base. He is charged with a mission to Matignon and called to take the presidency of the Regulatory Authority for rail and road activities.

Jean-Paul Huchon, nearly 70 years, is not retired, instead. Dismissed from the top of the list PS in Ile-de-France, in the last regional elections (lost by Claude Bartolone), former president of the region, since February, charged by Matignon an advisory mission to revive the tourist attractiveness of France. And in July, it should take the presidency of the Regulatory Authority for rail and road activities (Arafer).
That looks like an elevator or return to a consolation prize granted by the Executive, since these appointments depend, ultimately, the President of the Republic. Jean-Paul Huchon procrastinate. No reaction as his appointment is not official in the Cabinet.

But for him, there’s nothing scandalous … Transportation is an area where considers “legitimate,” he said in a small group. The former regional president says François Hollande and Manuel Valls may have remorse, he who believes that if they left to campaign, the PS would have won the Ile-de-France … Instead this, Jean-Paul Huchon, who will soon be 70, should win a position, paid 148,000 euros gross per year for 6 years.

This is not new: the independent authorities, the General inspectorate of social Affairs, are often used to recycle or thank the political friends
Manuel Valls has already appointed two of his. close prefects senior executive, and promoted to the courtyard of the former president of the Lower Normandy region accounts. Marie-Hélène Aubert, adviser to Francois Hollande at the Elysee, freshly rewarded too, since between 60 years, administration of sustainable development.
Recently, Jean -Louis Debré, 71, who left the constitutional council and found a base for the presidency of the High Council of Archives. Or the former CGT Thierry Lepaon propelled to the head of the agency against illiteracy.
Fluent, legal practice, but François Hollande away from his promise of exemplary Republic.
