Bygmalion case, three former executives of the UMP in custody – The World

Justice is investigating a system of false invoices between Bygmalion and the UMP during the presidential campaign of Nicolas Sarkozy in 2012

Eric Cesari, who was nicknamed” the Eye Sarkozy to “the UMP, former director of financial affairs of the party Fabienne Liadze and former communications director Peter Chassat ‘were arrested at their homes this morning,” and placed in custody at the Central Office of Anticorruption in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), said a judicial source.

ALREADY GETTING THREE REVIEW

The custody follow those three former executives of the company Bygmalion arrested at their homes Monday morning and charged Wednesday in the case. Before the judge, Guy Alves, one of the founders of this particular provider company which organized rallies Nicolas Sarkozy during the 2012 campaign, confirmed his participation in a massive fraud to disguise the campaign account of Nicolas Sarkozy. “A device (…) under which the UMP took over irregularly campaign costs of Nicolas Sarkozy” , said his lawyer, M th Patrick Maisonneuve.

The UMP has committed to mid-July dismissal proceedings for “serious misconduct” against Liadze Fabienne Pierre Chassat and Eric Cesari.
