Marine Le Pen continues to score points in public opinion. According to a survey released yesterday by “Le Parisien”, the president of the National Front collects 43% of good opinions, a score she had never met. However a majority of French (56%) still have a bad opinion of her. And nearly 7 out of 10 French (67%) say they do not trust him to “rule the country.” Yet the French are more than four in 10 (44%) believe that it has “the stature of a state woman.” Other qualifications recognized by the respondents, the study finds his “competence” (45%, up seven points in five months), his “close to the people” (48%).

Son speech seems to find increasing resonance in public opinion with 58% of the French are “convincing” while 73% of them consider it “courageous.” Despite these advances in public opinion, Marine Le Pen continues to have a sulfurous picture. Indeed, 78% of respondents, Marine Le Pen is cataloged as “extreme right.” Furthermore, 73% consider “aggressive” and 63% of them believe that the word “racist” applies rather well to the ruling National Front. ” If duel for the presidency in 2017, Marine Le Pen would lose whatever the opposite candidate. Alain Juppe would collect 71% of the vote, Nicolas Sarkozy 63% and 60% Manuel Valls.
