Isère: Yassin Sahli sent a selfie with the head of his victim – Le Figaro

Examination of his laptop revealed he was photographed with the head of his victim, and sent this “selfie” with instant messaging WhatsAp.

The suspect in the bombing in Isère sent a macabre selfie with the decapitated head of his victim, do we learned Saturday as relatives of the contractor collected in a silent emotion.

According to a source close to the investigation, examining her laptop revealed he was photographed with the head of his victim, Hervé Cornara, 54, and sent this “selfie” with instant messaging WhatsApp to a North American type of phone number, which could be only a relay number.

It is unclear at this stage which was addressed to the photo. This is one of many questions that investigators arise. These included asking whether Yassin Salhi has not beheaded his boss after killing him. The autopsy has not been so established but showed however traces of strangulation.

Yassin Sahli, which caused an explosion Friday at a chemical plant in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier where where he worked and was found the decapitated remains of Hervé Cornara should spend 96 hours in custody, time allowed for terrorism.

If there is no suggestion that he was accompanied by Friday accomplice on the site of the attack, investigators try to identify possible accomplices in France and abroad.
