Right consolidated its supremacy Sunday in the second round of partial municipal elections in the Hauts-de-Seine, Paris suburbs Department that sees its last socialist bastion disappear, Clichy.

After a rough campaign, he beat his best enemy, the Socialist Sébastien Pietrasanta (43.9%), mayor from 2008 to 2014.
The poll of 2014, which had resulted in only 70 votes of difference between the two rivals had been invalidated because of “pressure” to vote UMP just outside several polling stations, without the involvement of Mr Aeschlimann is established.
