Vaucluse: crash of a Mirage, the two pilots safely – Le Parisien <- Length: 0.026170969009399 sec -> A Mirage of the Air Force, crashed Monday morning in the town of Viens, Vaucluse. Both pilots managed to eject from their plane. They were recovered unharmed, in Oppedette in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
An investigation was initiated to determine the causes of the accident.

<- duration: 0.043720960617065 sec -> In a statement, Sirpa Air, the communication service of the army, reported a “technical problem.” The device is a Mirage 2000B of the Orange base, training mission. It crashed in a hilly and uninhabited area, between the departments of Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
On May 12, a Mirage 2000 of the Army of the Air crashed in a field in the town of Baroches (Meurthe-et-Moselle), about a hundred kilometers north of Nancy, in a similar mission. The pilot was also managed to eject and was unhurt in the accident. A Mirage 2000-D of the French forces in the Sahel, who was returning from a mission in Mali, had also crashed June 9 in Niger following a “technical failure”. Both crew members were, again, were recovered unharmed.
