The Criminal Court of Montpellier sentenced Friday, July 10 handball players Nikola Karabatic, convicted of fraud a 10 000 euros fine in a case of fake paris. The prosecutor had requested a sentence of three months suspended sentence and 30,000 euro fine. No prison sentence has been pronounced against the sixteen indicted, including seven players and their families. The brother of Nikola Karabatic Luka, was sentenced to 15 000 euros fine.
