A 32 year old man was arrested and taken into custody in connection with the alleged rape on the investigation of a Dutch girl of 8 years early August in a camping Ardeche, according to prosecutors Privas.
Identified and actively sought for several days, this person without criminal record was arrested Friday afternoon in Lyon, said the prosecutor. The man was then taken back to Privas (Ardèche) and was always interviewed by investigators today.
On the night of August 8 to 9, the girl on vacation in Saint-Alban-Auriolles, near Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, sleeping alone in a tent near that of his parents when she started screaming. The medical examination of the girl was found “consistent with recent touching” had indicated the floor.
