Five months in prison for threatening Francois Hollande and Manuel Valls on Twitter – The Huffington Post

JUSTICE – Grégory Pasqueille, already convicted for racist tweet against Christiane Taubira, was imposed Friday five months in prison for death threats because of a tweet calling murder Francois Hollande and Manuel Valls did here Saturday to the prosecution of Bethune.

Pasqueille was arrested July 7 next to the National Assembly in Paris, not far from so ceremony paying homage to the Socialist leader, said the prosecutor.

the source said Pasqueille acknowledged that it was indeed the author of the tweets, but according to him, it was not death threats, but a way of saying that he wanted to end the political career of President Francois Hollande and Prime Minister Manuel Valls.

He was sentenced to five months in prison for death threats and a further month for refusing to submit to a DNA test.

the man was convicted in June in Paris, in his absence, to two months in prison for racially insulting because of a tweet in which, in July 2014, he compared the former Minister Justice Christiane Taubira a monkey. He appealed against that judgment
