Disappearance of Rémy Pflimlin – Franceinfo

Rémy Pflimlin, former president of France Télévisions, who was also chairman of the management board of the journal Alsace, died in hospital this Saturday afternoon, in Paris.

Remy Pflimlin died at the age of 62, died of cancer, at the hospital Pitié Salpêtrière hospital, in Paris, where he was in care for a month. Appointed counsellor of State, in September 2015, Rémy Pflimlin had left the presidency of France Télévisions a few months ago, after 5 years at the head of the group. It had led also France 3au beginning of the years 2000.

Rémy Pflimlin is known in the region for having held responsibilities to the DNA, where he was commercial director, and to Alsace, where he chaired the board of directors.

a Native of Mulhouse, france, Remy Pflimlin was very often in Alsace. He was president of the Musica festival in Strasbourg, france since 2001. “Remy Pflimlin has just left us, too soon, too fast (…) It has been an unequivocal support for the Musica festival he will have served for so many years. Strasbourg loses a friend and an ally” just react to Robert Hermann, the president of the Eurométrople.
