Montreuil: inscriptions with anti-semitic on a school – Le Figaro

inscriptions of racist and anti-semitic, were discovered on Sunday on the portal of a public school bearing the name Anne Frank in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), according to the mayor and the police.

The inscription “Juden verboten”, “dirty jews and Roma”, accompanied by stars of David and swastikas, according to photos available on Twitter, have been discovered around 16: 00 on the entrance gate and the mailbox of this elementary school by municipal officials, who alerted the police.

The commissioner went on the spot to find the facts that took place in an area not monitored by cameras. “Such remarks were not intended to exist in Montreuil is a quiet town, peaceful, where we have always favored dialogue”, responded to the AFP Gaylord The Chequer, deputy mayor.

The minister of national Education Najat Vallaud-Belkacem said on Twitter that such an act would not remain unpunished.

The mayor PCF Patrice Bessac had condemned before, “with the greatest firmness” these inscriptions on Twitter. The tags will be deleted on Monday morning “the first time” and the city hall intends to file a complaint to “show its determination” not to let pass such acts. “Anyone who is allowed to cross the yellow line should be aware that it is liable to be severely punished”, said Mr Chequer. The investigation was entrusted to the commissioner of Montreuil.
