Weather : three counties in Southern orange alert – The Figaro

Chain forecast torrential rains on the east of Corsica and very strong winds on the coast of var.

heavy snow is also announced on the Mercantour, Queyras, the Ubaye valley to the Alps and the Capcir in the Pyrénées-Orientales with 50 to 80 cm of snow predicted from 1800 meters altitude. It snow today also on the south of the Massif-Central as early as 600 metres with thickness reaching locally 10 to 30 cm to 1000 meters.
