The balance sheet is heavy. One person was killed and twelve others injured, including two seriously, in a fire that hit a welcome center for migrant workers at Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) in the night from Thursday to Friday.
The person who has succumbed to the disaster is “a Malian man, aged forty years, who jumped from the 3rd floor of the building on the courtyard side. He had arrived in the home about 4 years ago,” says Bakary Cissoko, president of the residents committee.
