11 men have been arrested in the investigation into the attack of 14 July in Nice. The first arrest took place Friday, December 9, at Nantes, the other ten on Monday in Nice.
those detained are suspected of having helped the perpetrator of the attack, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, to obtain arms.
What do we know about the suspects ?
Among those detained include, in particular, of the Albanians. They may not have been aware of the attack, but “are part of the environment tortious common law, including channels of supply of weapons,” says a source close to the case to the AFP. The same source details :
“These are people who were in touch with those arrested in July in the framework of the provision of weapons to the perpetrator of the attack, a pistol and an assault rifle. We try to shoot all the sons of the investigation. The Nantais lived Nice before.”
A couple of Albanian, Artan Henaj and Enkeledja Zace, had already been indicted and placed in detention. They were suspected to have been involved in supplying the gun with which Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel has shot at police officers before being killed.
