Jacqueline Savage: his daughters require a full grace at the Elysée palace – The Point

The daughters of Jacqueline Wild, sentenced to ten years in prison for the murder of her violent husband, filed Friday at the Elysée palace for a “full grace”, a week after the rejection in the appeal of his application for parole, told AFP from his lawyers.

“A petition of more than 300,000 signatories requesting the immediate release of their mother has been attached to this application”, indicated the lawyers of Mrs Wild, My Nathalie Tomasini and Janine Bonaggiunta.

In their letter addressed to François Hollande, which the AFP was able to read excerpts, the three daughters of Jacqueline Wild say they are “desperate” not to have their mother near them, “concerned for his state of health” and “fearing for his life”.

They also say not “most” know “how to intervene in the face of all these lengthy procedures that do not result”.

The committee to support Jacqueline Wild, chaired by actress Eva Darlan, also sent Friday a letter to the president of the Republic, asking him to “solemnly” to “free, granting him the full grace and immediate”.

The committee, which believes that Ms. Savage “has paid for his actions for four years, where she is in prison,” has planned a rally on Saturday, 10 December, in Paris.

Become a symbol of the victims of domestic violence, Jacqueline Wild was obtained on 31 January, after a strong mobilization, a through part of the president Hollande, including the period of preventive detention, allowing him or her to immediately submit an application for parole.

This request has been rejected in the first instance, and then call the last week. The court of appeal of Paris considered in particular that the reflection of Jacqueline Wild was still “poor and limited, since it is only” to access a “genuine sense of guilt.”

In October 2014, as on appeal in December 2015, Jacqueline Wild was sentenced to ten years imprisonment.

His three daughters testified against their father, explaining how he was raped and beaten as was their mother.

After the rejection of his application for parole, his lawyers had indicated that Jacqueline Wild and her family were willing to give up to be able to appeal in cassation.

Imprisoned in the Seine-et-Marne, Jacqueline Wild has the option of filing a new application for a discharge if he or she wishes.
