Snow and ice: the Ile-de-France in vigilance orange snow and ice – Clicanoo

The eight departments of the Ile-de-France, including Paris and its suburbs, have been placed in vigilance orange snow and ice, according to the Weather bulletin France aired Sunday morning.

These eight départements (Paris, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Essonne and Val-d’oise), in addition to the Corse-du-Sud and Haute-Corse is already involved in an alert released Saturday.

“A disturbance is expected in the late afternoon” Sunday on the Ile-de-France. “She will win the whole of the region before the night and will be accompanied by weak snowfall” with heights of 1 to 3 cm, says Météo France in its bulletin at 06: 00.

In Corsica, snow amounts will reach 5 to 15 cm at 300-400 m altitude and 30 to 40 cm above 600 mr

Saturday, the snow has affected the north-eastern quarter of the country, but the most dramatic effects of this offensive of the cold have been recorded in the Pyrenees, where an avalanche has been a death.
