The preliminary report of the General Inspectorate of Social Affairs (IGAS) on the accident in a clinical trial in Rennes has identified “three major deficiencies” on the part of Biotrial lab who led the trial, has said Thursday the Minister of Health.
“with regard to the conduct of the study and management of the crisis, the inspectors found three major shortcomings,” said Marisol Touraine during ‘ a press conference, adding however that the report allowed “not to identify the exact cause” of the accident that killed one person in January among the volunteers of the test.
