Dieudonné loses a court battle. The administrative court of Orléans (Loiret) dismissed on Thursday the controversial comedian of its claims for compensation for the ban on his show “The Wall” by the Municipality of Orleans and Tours (Indre-et-Loire) in January 2014.

Mr M’Bala M’Bala, aka Dieudonne, challenged before the administrative court banning scheduled shows on 10 and 11 January 2014 Tours and Orleans. The Administrative Court had rejected at the time the action brought under an emergency procedure by Dieudonne and this time made its decision on the merits. The polemicist demanded € 20,000 to the state and more than one million euros to each of the two cities whose mayors had enacted bylaws prohibiting representations.

Next to a decision show canceled in Nantes

Citing the “attack on the dignity of the human person” contained in the disputed show, the audience rapporteur (the magistrate in charge of the administrative court to declare the law) justified the legitimacy of bylaws, at the hearing on 4 February, to which neither the comedian nor his lawyer showed up.

the lawyer of Dieudonné Jacques Verdier, reached by telephone , said it will not respond until he has not read the judgment. In its pleadings submitted to the court, Mr. Verdier held that “the arrested mayors (…) were illegal, inasmuch as they violate the principle of freedom of expression.”

the controversial comedian also took the administrative court of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) where his show was banned in January 2014. Cancellations show in Orleans, Tours and Nantes were confirmed in chambers before the Council of State, before call in an emergency, but the deal has not been found on the bottom.

€ 30,000 fine required in another business
Three months suspended prison sentence and a fine of € 30,000 were required Wednesday by the Paris Criminal court against Dieudonné for “incitement to racial hatred” and “racial insult” to the passages its penultimate show “the wild Beast”. The Paris prosecutor cited Dieudonné to appear after a preliminary investigation launched after a report from the Paris prefect of police in the summer of 2014. A new record was made February 20, 2015 after another representation. In this show, Dieudonne, shackled, dressed as Guantanamo detainee, focuses on the role he attributes to the Jews in the slave trade and ironic about the genocide committed by the Nazis to power in Germany in 1933
1945.
