A sub-prefect jailed for theft from the national furniture – Le Point

The floor of the Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire) reported that a sub-prefect was charged and remanded in custody on suspicion by an investigating judge “misuse” of objects belonging the national furniture, confirming a report in newspaper Paris-Normandie .

Secretary General for regional Affairs of the Prefecture of Normandy, Hugues Malecki, civil senior officer, was arrested and presented to an investigating judge of the Puy-en-Velay, there are ten days, according to the prosecutor Jacques Louvier. The official misappropriated art objects, in this case at least one table part of the national furniture, when he was stationed at the sub-prefecture of Brioude (Haute-Loire) between 2006 and 2007.
