The 28 year old man arrested last week in Disneyland (Seine-et-Marne), in possession of two loaded pistols and ammunition, was sentenced Tuesday 2 February to wear an electronic bracelet for six months.

Fifteen months in jail, nine suspended, had been required against this man converted to Islam, who had also in his suitcase Koran. He was arrested on January 28 to 1:00 p.m. at the Hotel New York, located next to a popular shopping arcade of the tourists visiting the amusement park, before being remanded in custody.

The defendant, restaurateur in the fourteenth district of Paris, will serve his sentence in his mother’s home, in the Loiret. The court in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne) also forbidden to carry a weapon requiring a license for five years. He faced a sentence of five years in prison and 75,000 euros fine.
