On the occasion of the week of the press in schools, the Ministry of Education announced Tuesday the launch of the lirelactu.fr platform that will allow free access to daily newspapers in colleges and schools from the fall 2016.
initially, fifteen national and international newspapers are available and “viewed by connecting to wifi establishment”, the ministry said.
“Today, students are informed via internet much, but often without paying attention to the source of the information they find,” writes Najat Vallaud-Belkacem in a statement. “So I wanted to give them access, through digital, in press titles they do not have the habit of reading for they perceive the quality and diversity.”
