The department of the Hérault, at the moment the most concerned (the coastal plain and relief), but overflows to the Gard and the Aude are to be feared.
The rainy and sometimes stormy (especially on the coast) will be at times extremely intense from the end of the night next, and then throughout the day tomorrow ; their sequence, as well as the low mobility of the lines of heavy rain, thus will give considerable amounts of rain (often greater than 150 mm and up to locally 200 to 300 mm), which may cause strong run-off as well as the overflow of streams, even of small size.
It is also to be noted that the east wind will be particularly strong, the sea is very formed, and that the surge coastal will slow down the flow of river waters to the sea.
The episode will continue on Friday (at least until mid-day) ; the aspect of storm, will be strengthened in the night from Thursday to Friday, and the rains are expected to become at times violent on the west of the department.
