JUSTICE Nantes: a teenager of 16 years admits to having strangled Romain Barré syndrome – The Dauphiné Libéré

Five people, aged 16 to 19 years, were arrested in the framework of the investigation on the disappearance of real estate agent for 38 years. They were placed Friday in police custody, and acknowledged having killed him before throwing his body into the Loire.

The five young people – four men and one woman – were Sunday afternoon “in the course of referral to the investigating judge,” said Mr. Sennès.

For two of them, aged between 16 and 19 years, the prosecutor of Nantes has required an indictment for “murder for the purpose of preparation of a crime or ensuring impunity of its author”. a charge punishable by life imprisonment.

For the girl of 18 years, the prosecutor has requested an indictment for “complicity in murder”.

Finally, the last two – two minors of 16 and 17 year olds are covered by the requisitions of the “non-denunciation of crime” and “concealment of property from a theft.”

A warrant of committal has been required against the first three, and a single judicial review against the last two.

They would have strangled “in order not to leave traces”

According to the prosecutor, the suspects were in the tower of the vehicles to steal items. Finding Mr. Barré dozed off in his car, they would have started to search discreetly in the vehicle, before being interrupted by the passage of a police car.

If the body of the victim remains missing, his vehicle was discovered in Bouguenais, south of Nantes, three days after the report of his disappearance by his companion.

This is by finding an internet purchase with the credit card of the victim that the investigators have been able to go back to the suspect.
