Air France unveils a young offer for its subsidiary Hop! – Boursier.com

Priced at 49 euros, the card will give you discounts on hundreds of links …

(Boursier.com) – Hop! , a regional subsidiary of Air France wants to attract young people. On the occasion of the publication of results of the first quarter 2016, the Group announced the launch of an offer for 12-24 years.



An offer inspired by the SNCF

Hop! and will offer a card priced at 49 euros, valid for one year, which will entitle tariff offers up to 30% off a hundred domestic routes (except Paris-Corse), says the company. ‘Le Parisien’ indicates that the youth fare lowest one way Lyon-Rennes will be 44 euros against 95 euros at the normal price.

This card will also give access to special rates and changing flights with only 10 euros of expenses or even repayment through 20 euros costs, the statement said. The card holders also will accumulate points for the Flying Blue loyalty program.

The Hop offer! is inspired by the SNCF … Young map 12-27 years – initially reserved for 12-25 years – is sold at 50 euros. This entitles the holder to repayment facilities and allows to accumulate loyalty points for access to routes with free …

Reconquest domestic market

No surprising that Air France is trying to compete with SNCF. While Hop! currently transports 800,000 young people per year, it hopes to attract 100,000 more with this card and win the domestic market, said Lionel Guerin, CEO of Hop, the ‘Parisian’. “Competing companies have abandoned – this market, note – (…) We, on the contrary, we want to strengthen it!” Added Frédéric Gagey, CEO of Air France …
