A fire left two people dead and ten wounded, one seriously, early yesterday morning in an apartment in the 15th arrondissement of Paris building.

Firefighters were called to 6:30 for the fire that spread in a seven-storey building dating from 1930 and situated on the corner of two streets of a residential area. They found a dead man, defenestrated in the street, and another man dead, charred on the stairs at the fifth floor.

One person was seriously injured. Nine others, including three firefighters and a child of two years were slightly.

Firefighters deployed thirty vehicles and one hundred men to extinguish the fire and evacuate the victims. The injured have been transported to them in hospitals

September rescues were carried out by the scales -. Three in the courtyard of the building and four by the facade facing the street. Five people who had taken refuge on the roof were also evacuated.

The fire was extinguished around 7:40 ET reconnaissance to check for the presence of other victims were over an hour later , said the commander Gabriel Plus, spokesman for firefighters.

The very first elements of the investigation point to an accidental cause of the accident, according to a police source. The Central Laboratory of the Prefecture of Police is responsible to establish the precise cause of the incident.

The corner of the building to the clear front sprocket was blackened by smoke releases from the third floor.
