Felling, animal testing, bullfighting: the Humane Society launches Monday in Paris and in major cities of France a poster campaign to challenge François Hollande to “an end to the cruelties inflicted on animals La France”. A photo, a lamb, a slogan: “Torture … it’s legal? Mr. Chairman #JeVousFaisUneLettre “asks the first of three posters evoking the slaughter of animals. A white rabbit symbolizes him, animal testing and a powerful bull, bullfighting. The Spa, which since its inception 170 years ago fighting any form of animal suffering, hopes to “challenge politicians to exit the last of inaction.”

The association reminds that “animals are known in France as sentient beings” but is indignant that “they are so (ie) nt yet martyred in the general indifference and contempt laws by individuals who take advantage of the passivity of the elect. ” The SPA thus requires the installation of video surveillance systems in all killing zones, “one measure for both preventing illegal and cruel excesses but also to punish them by proving through image and irrefutably their existence”. It also lobbies the French elected “so that finally our country engages in scientific research practice suppliciera not animals.” About bullfighting, the SPA “demands the ban as soon as possible.”

These posters will be visible in Paris, near Paris but also in Marseille, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lens , Strasbourg, Lille, Rouen, Toulon, Grenoble, Rennes, Tours, Metz, Montpellier and Orleans. They will also be Wednesday in the Paris metro.
