A young 10 year old boy was seriously injured this morning another 12 year old boy who was trying to extort money. The incident occurred on the way to school Anatole France in Venissieux between two pupils of the same primary class.

The incident occurred this morning around 8:30 am on the outskirts of school Anatole France Venissieux, on the way to school. According to the first elements of the investigation, a boy of 10 years stabbed another boy, aged 12, who allegedly tried to extort money from him. The latter, seriously injured, was rushed to the hospital mother-child Bron. His prognosis was engaged until mid afternoon.
The author of the knife was placed in judicial restraint, the time to explain the facts. The investigation will determine whether there has been the victim of attempted racketeering or there is a dispute between pupils in the same class CM2.
A psychological monitoring unit will be kept in school all day Thursday.
