High school student struck: police shortly before justice – francetv info

This is a punch that police will now explain to a criminal court. On the sidelines of demonstrations against the proposed labor law, a police officer had hit a schoolboy of fifteen and had broken his nose. The video was shot near the Bergson school in Paris. The peacekeeper, who carried the blows will be held in May to deliberate violence by person holding public authority. He faces three years in prison, pending trial, judicial supervision and disqualification.

Following the incident, two police stations east of Paris had been targeted by dozens of students angry. Bernard Cazeneuve, Minister of the Interior, had himself condemned the behavior of the police. A second investigation was opened for other acts of alleged police violence, again near the Bergson school on March 24. Here is a plainclothes policeman, who gives masked batons to students.
