labor law: the police prefecture banned Thursday’s demonstration in Paris – Le Monde

After twenty-four hours of negotiations with trade unions, the police department announced Wednesday, June 22 prohibiting the demonstration against the proposed reform of the labor code scheduled for Thursday in Paris.

The discussions between the authorities and the unions “have not led to the emergence of an agreement” , the statement said the prefecture.



“in these circumstances, the Commissioner of police considers that there is no other choice but to prohibit the holding of the event. “


A” static “rally refused
