The storm raging since Saturday morning in the West has had a serious impact on the power grid ERDF. In mid-day over 25 000 homes were without power.
Loire-Atlantique, the situation is still difficult and nearly 6000 homes are without light. ERDF currently gives no time for a return to normal. To return quickly to normal, 500 officers were mobilized.
The weather also pertubre air traffic. Several flights were delayed. Others had to be diverted to Brest, Rennes and Bordeaux. The situation should return to normal by late afternoon, with the expected lull.
In the Maine-et-Loire, the has made significant storm damage . At 16 hours this Saturday, 6,000 customers were without power according to a statement ERDF.
BRITTANY
C is all Brittany region that is affected by the power cuts. 250 ERDF agents are hard at work to restore the situation quickly. At 17h, 8300 homes are still affected: 6000 in Morbihan, 1800 in Finistère, 300 in the Cotes d’Armor and 200 Ille-et-Vilaine.
ERDF estimated that 20 pm, there will be more than 2000 homes without power in Britain, of which 1 500 in the Morbihan.

14 departments in orange alert
Weather France launched a new warning bulletin Saturday afternoon and calls for greater vigilance in passing a new winter storm.
Fourteen departments are placed in amber alert: Charente-Maritime (17), Cotes d’Armor (22), Ille-et-Vilaine (35) Indre (36), Indre-et-Loire (37), Loire-Atlantique (44) Maine-and- Loire (49), Deux-Sèvres (79), Vendée (85) Vienne (86) Gers (32) Landes (40), Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64) and Hautes-Pyrénées (65). Finistere and Morbihan, affected in the morning are not affected.
