Paris: a death in a fire in Ménilmontant – Le Point

Thirty firefighters were mobilized on Monday to control a fire in Paris in the popular district of Ménilmontant. The fire, which took in an apartment on the fifth floor, one person was killed and one wounded. According to Le Parisien , which collected the testimony of a trader, it is a housing harboring a retired couple. The woman died. Her husband was revived on the spot by the emergency services. “I saw the man out just for the fire department. His face was blackened by smoke.
