Fall of the castle, Caen. A young man of 20 seriously wounded – Normandy-news

fell more than ten meters , mid-afternoon , Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. Around 15:30, a young man aged 20 has fallen walls château de Caen (Calvados) . The building, founded in the XI th century by William the Conqueror, is located in the city center and is open to the public. The accident occurred in the part located along the street Jail, where the tram passes.



Multiple fractures

The relief were quickly made on site, but the young man, who is domiciled in Herouville Saint Clair, was seriously injured. He was transported to the University Hospital of Caen. With multiple fractures, he would be out of danger.
An investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of this fall. Accident? Attempted suicide? The police are trying to find any witnesses of the scene.
