The government wants to extend the state of emergency for three months – L’Express

The Elysee confirmed: the government will present to the Council of Ministers on 3 February 2016 a draft law extending the state of emergency for a period of three months. After his meeting Friday with President of the Republic, the national secretary of the PCF, Pierre Laurent, had already given information.

When contacted by The Express, the entourage of the head of state had however denied this information. “The decision is not taken and will be communicated in the coming days,” lied a counselor.
