Jacqueline Wild: the application of grace total transmitted to the federal Chancellery – le-pays.fr

The Elysée said on Friday that it submitted to the Chancellery the application of full grace of Jacqueline Wild, sentenced to ten years in prison for the murder of her violent husband, following the rejection in the appeal of his application for parole.

“We passed this day the application of grace issued by Ms. Savage in the Chancellery. It must give a notice and the chairman shall take its decision on this base”,-told in the entourage of François Hollande.

In their letter sent a week ago to the head of the government, including the AFP was able to read excerpts, the three daughters of Jacqueline Wild said they were “desperate” not to have their mother near them, “concerned for his state of health” and “fearing for his life”.

They also said not “most” know “how to intervene in the face of all these lengthy procedures that do not result”.

The committee to support Jacqueline Wild, chaired by actress Eva Darlan, had also sent last Friday a letter to the president of the Republic, asking him to “solemnly” to “free, granting him the full grace and immediate”.

The committee, which believes that Ms. Savage “has paid for his actions for four years, where she is in prison,” has planned a rally on Saturday, 10 December, in Paris.

Become a symbol of the victims of domestic violence, Jacqueline Wild was obtained on 31 January, after a strong mobilization, a through part of the president Hollande, including the period of preventive detention, allowing him or her to immediately submit an application for parole.

This request has been rejected in the first instance, and then call the last week. The court of appeal of Paris considered in particular that the reflection of Jacqueline Wild was still “poor and limited, since it is only” to access a “genuine sense of guilt.”

In October 2014, as on appeal in December 2015, Jacqueline Wild was sentenced to ten years imprisonment.

His three daughters testified against their father, explaining how he was raped and beaten as was their mother.

After the rejection of his application for parole, his lawyers had indicated that Jacqueline Wild and her family were willing to give up to be able to appeal in cassation.

Imprisoned in the Seine-et-Marne, Jacqueline Wild may file a new application for release.
