Primary from the left : Fabien Verdier will not be a candidate – Franceinfo

Fabien Verdier, national secretary of the PS, but also a regional councillor in the Centre-Val de Loire and a municipal councillor in Châteaudun in Eure-et-Loir, has not been inducted to be a candidate for the primary of the left. He decided to file an appeal.

They are seven on the starting line of the primary of the left organised by the PS, after the officialization this Saturday, November 17, nominations. The nomination of Fabien Verdier, national secretary of the PS, but also a regional councillor in the Centre-Val de Loire and a municipal councillor in Châteaudun in Eure-et-Loir, has not been selected.

An appeal will be filed


This list, validated by the High authority of the primary citizen (HAPC), has created tensions : Fabien Verdier, whose candidature has been recalée officially due to lack of sponsorship sufficient, is prompted with a crash in front of microphones and cameras to denounce “irregularities” and “pressures”.

On his Twitter account, he explained that it will file an appeal.

Among the nine people who came forward to be a candidate in the primary organized by the socialist Party, Fabien Verdier, 35 years old, is the one who has created the most surprise. Unknown to the general public, he is the current national secretary of the PS. An economist by training (aggregated eco-management) and hospital director, he is also advisor to the minister, a regional councillor in the Centre-Val de Loire and municipal councillor of Châteaudun in Eure-et-Loir.


The candidate of the middle-classes

As he explains on his website fabienverdierbap.fr Fabien Verdier wants to consider, among others, as the defender of the “middle classes, who suffer most in our country.”
