A1 Roissy-Paris: channel reserved for suspension taxi and bus – Le Point

The use of a lane of the A1 motorway reserved for taxis and buses between Roissy and Paris was suspended Monday by the Administrative Court of Montreuil. According to Le Figaro , the decision of the Administrative Court of Montreuil will open the way for VTC when reopened. A decree in force since the end of April included a segment of 5 km in the direction Roissy-Paris, the left lane, either exclusively dedicated 6:30 to 10:00 on weekdays, except in summer, taxis and buses to make them win a few precious minutes during peak periods.

Seized by the French federation of passenger transport by reservation (FFTPR) and several companies, “the judge considered that the order infringed the rights of the VTC that does not have the right to the borrow, “said the federation. “This competitive advantage conferred on taxis was not justified by an objective of general interest or public order.” According FFTPR for the return to service in service this route, “the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis will allow VTC move in them, with taxis and buses”, in particular to “ensure normal competition between taxis and VTC “.
