Charles Lüthi was found dead Sunday at the bottom of a building of the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris. The body of his wife, larded stabbing, was also found in their home.
This is a witness who alerted the drama police shortly after noon on Sunday, the daily 20 minutes which broke the story. He saw a man, namely Charles Lüthi, Secretary General and Director of the Automobile Club de France (ACF), jumping from the 8th floor of his apartment boulevard Flandrin in the sixteenth arrondissement. The body of his wife, larded stabbing, was also found in their home. The investigation was assigned to the 1st district of the judicial police, who will determine if it is a homicide-suicide, as suggested by the events.
In a statement the president of the ACF Robert Panhard, members and the ACF staff have expressed sorrow at “the great misfortune” and honored the memory of Charles Lüthi “who has died at his home in tragic personal circumstances” .
Charles Lüthi, 57, was the director and secretary general of the ACF since 2011, after moving in circles hotels and the sports sector. It was indeed previously CEO Interpacific Resorts, owner of Pacific Islands Club in the Pacific and an Olympic sports center in Australia, as outlined his teaching sheet on the International Management Academy website. Charles Lüthi was teaching “in the fields of management of Gentlemen’s Clubs and the management of international spa facilities, fitness and sport clubs.”
The Secretary General also headed Bell Sports and CCM Hockey in the sports industry. He was a former employee of the International Academy of Management in Hospitality and Tourism (AIM).
The Automobile Club de France (ACF) is a luxury French club for men and implanted Square Concorde in Paris. Founded in 1895, it is both a private club and an institution dedicated to encouraging the evolution and development of the automobile. Among its 2,200 members include industrial Thierry Peugeot, former chairman of the Supervisory Board of PSA Peugeot Citroën, and Nicolas Seydoux, President of Gaumont’s supervisory board.
