Meeting in Le Havre: Sarkozy allows himself a trip by private jet to 3 … – Liberation

Nicolas Sarkozy went to a meeting in Le Havre on Tuesday. To make the journey from Paris, no car, no train. But a private jet. The president of the UMP chose this means of transport, entirely funded by his party. A trip in the amount of 3,200 euros, reveals Le Petit Journal.

By train, the trip would have cost 35 euros while in the car there would have been 20 euros toll. Yann Barthes said the company hired to transport the former president is not the least luxurious. The Canal + team then conducted an investigation to find out why a transport by private jet on a short distance. “It was for logistical reasons and because the train and car are more tiring” , then revealed the staff of Nicolas Sarkozy.
