Six southwestern departments still orange alert “rain … – The Obs

Toulouse (AFP) – Six southwestern departments remain in amber alert “rain-flood” until 16:00, ie the Ariege, Aveyron, Haute-Garonne, Pyrenees-Atlantiques, Hautes -Pyrenees and Tarn, announced Monday morning Météo-France.

Since Sunday night, rainfall reached 50 mm in places in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Aveyron and up to 87 mm in the Tarn Fraisse-Murat.

In the coming hours, Météo-France expects “fifteen additional mm” and “occasionally 25 to 50 mm on the landscape, including the Ariege and Tarn.”
