Yannis Varaille, aged 27, is on trial for having killed a 14 year old boy with a knife and then having it drowned in the Rhone. With the complicity of his sister, Marine Varaille (22 years old), and Anthony Shepherd (21 years), he had caught his victim, Fabian Ristic, in an ambush. The boy’s body was found the next day with a gaping wound to the neck, on the banks of the river. The three accomplices were arrested the same day and accused each other.
A problem of “decompensation”
During a break, the author of the fatal beating has attempted to put an end to his days in the cutting of veins with a razor blade from the house of stop. The guardians of the peace were able to arrive on time and have called the emergency services.
