Nine in ten French ready to elect a woman president of … – The Obs

Paris (AFP) – More than nine out of ten French say they are ready to elect a woman president of the Republic, according to a poll BVA Opinion for Orange and I-TV aired Saturday, which emphasizes, however, an increase in pessimism in terms of equality between men and women in France.

Some 94% of the French declared themselves ready to elect a woman as head of state, the survey said. Supporters of the left are in favor of 98%, those on the right to 90%.
