Pouria Amirshahi: “I leave the PS and the world of parties in general” – Le Monde

Pouria Amirshahi in Paris on 2 March.

You have decided to leave the Socialist Party, why?

I leave the PS and the world of parties in general , rhizomes of an institutional system of breath. They have become electoral machines without conviction, without future promise happy for the country. They are at best incompetent, at worst dangerous, such as the National Front. Our system, confiscatory powers and wealth, leads to the abyss democratic, social and ecological.

And the parties can not seem to do much when they are not in outright denial or complicity. Mine is without springs, without ideas, despite many good intentions with which I will continue to share in reflection and action spaces. There at home and abroad a caste of technocrats and propertied increasingly powerful, and it is against this that the left and the genuine Republicans should fight.

And you, this is not what the government of François Hollande?

France is not governed by the right wing of the PS, but by the neoconservatives, in all areas, a few exceptions … Moreover, their allies are now from the reactionary bloc: deprivation of nationality, state of emergency, criminal upmanship, labor law

Since 2012, the renunciation of succession is staggering.: it began with the European Treaty. On Banking Supervision or the insolent remuneration, the government quickly gave. The tax credit for competitiveness and employment [IECC] and the responsibility pact legalized theft of the public money however they say it is so rare. 40 billion euros given without conditions, without that employees have seen the beginning of a substantial improvement in their standard of living! Contempt is experienced by many of our fellow citizens, workers, youth, and many others. Add to that the choice of governing by fear … Hence my opposition.

Yet you have also decided to give the deputation and does not represent you in 2017 …

I still have over a year of mandate and will continue to act with the same ethics and the same energy. But I do not want to hang me absolutely incumbency. My riding is exciting, people are extremely rich multicultural. I’ve been “good” elected in 2012 with 62% of votes, but after five years in office, I wish to return to professional life, which will not cut my activist appetite!
