<- Hard dé e: 0.026390075683594 sec -> France celebrated Friday the 70th anniversary of the landing of the French on August 15, 1944 On this occasion, François Hollande has received fifteen African leader to pay tribute to the vital contribution African fighters during the liberation. In all, 28 states were represented at an international ceremony aboard the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, in Toulon harbor, headed by the President of the Republic.

Unlike ceremony June 6, festivities this Friday were mainly commemorative and have not resulted in a appointments to diplomatic chanceries present between Cannes and the islands of Hyères. However, the festivities have helped François Hollande and Manuel Valls to speak at Fort of the poor economic performance of the country during a working lunch on Friday.

When ceremony, spectators were treated to a naval parade of about twenty warships, 13 French and 7 foreigners (British, American, Tunisian, Algerian and Moroccan). About 150 French and foreign veterans were also on board the aircraft carrier, including Americans, Moroccans and Algerians.
